WIP : OpenFlow on WatchGuard Firebox V60

FacebookにてOpenFlow AP with PC Engineなるwikiページが紹介されていた。
ちょうど手元には、Firebox V60が余っている。
一応この子はx86なのできっと上手くいくだろうという安直な発想の元、試しに突っ込んでみた。
以下はそのときのログ。


手順

まずは上記wikiページの手順に沿ってCFを用意する。
これを実機にセットして起動すれば終わりと手順もなにもあったものではないが、シリアルコンソールで取るときは以下に注意

baud rateは38400

BIOS画面は9600だが, OpenFlow側は(grubのmenu.lst等に書いてあるが)38400を使用している。
なおケーブルはCiscoきしめんケーブルでOK


起動

意を決して電源を入れると下記起動時ログにあるように起動が始まる。
とりあえずここでは以下のように拡張ボードみたいにPCIに繋がっているNIC(?)ははずしている


なにやらいろいろなところで怒られている感が満載。
もっとも重大なのはeth0のfirmwareがロードできなくて転けているあたり。
ifconfigを叩いても以下のようにデフォルトではupしていない。

mii-toolで見てみると一応リンク状態はとれているらしい。ここではeth1からeth0に抜いて挿してをしてみたところ

ただしeth0にアドレスを割り当てようとすると発狂し始めた。コンソールはまだとれるものの良く分からないところにアクセスしようとして失敗する、を繰り返している。
ちなみにこの状態では外部へのpingは届かない模様。LEDもぴかぴかしない。
